The initial allocation is one ticket for each child performing. So if your school is bringing 30 children, you can request up to 30 tickets.
1 TICKET = £10 = ENTRY FOR ONE PERSON
Everyone attending the concert needs their own ticket (including any children over 18 months). There are no concessions.
No. None of the performers in the concert require tickets. The tickets are for audience seats.
We ask for at least one teacher to sit on the stage with the children (no ticket needed). Each school will receive one free audience ticket to do with what you like (usually for your Head Teacher or another guest of the school). Any further school staff sitting in the audience will need to purchase a ticket.
Parents who have come as helpers for the afternoon rehearsal will still need a ticket for the evening to sit in the audience. No-one can enter the audience side of the theatre except through the main theatre doors, with their own ticket.
You should estimate the number of tickets you will need. You don’t have to make the final payment until Tuesday, 14th May.
They can buy them from the artsdepot Box Office from Tuesday, 21st May at 10.00am. They will not be allowed to book them before that date. These extra tickets cannot be reserved in advance of purchase. The Box Office can be contacted on 020 8369 5454.
Yes - the box office will have a record of which area in the theatre your school has purchased from. As long as you’ve got a ticket purchased in the same area, and all come together, you should all be allowed to sit together.
Theatre regulations say that a child over 18 months needs a ticket of their own, like an adult. If your child is under 18 months and will stay on your lap the whole time, then they do not need a ticket.
This event uses printed paper tickets only. Because of the complicated arrangements to make it fair for schools, there are no electronic or online tickets, and paper tickets cannot be re-issued. Therefore, if a ticket is lost or stolen it cannot be replaced. A new ticket would have to be purchased (and there may be no more available). It’s important that everyone understands this!
We don’t recommend this, as the answer is probably not. These shows sell out in advance although the box office will operate a returns queue on the day of each performance in case anything is returned. You would need to come and queue for these – maybe for an hour or more before the show starts – and there are no guarantees.
This is because lost tickets cannot be reissued. If tickets were posted and then got lost in transit either in the post or in school, this would cause a problem. On the whole, schools have not found collection too onerous, because of artsdepot’s central location, but we do appreciate it is more convenient for some schools than for others!
You can pay with a card over the phone (020 8369 5454), or personally at the box office. Payment can also be taken via BACS. Extra tickets cannot be reserved before payment.
Then they don’t need a ticket! You will, however, need to think about how the children will be collected in that case.
